He got his M.Sc. at the Faculty of Physics in 1991. defending his thesis named Physics of impurities autolocalized states in Pb<sub>1-x<\/sub>Sn<sub>x<\/sub>Te(In). He earned his PhD in 1997. at the Faculty of Phyiscs on the topic: Light absorption and scattering on impurity levels in doped lead telluride based semiconductors.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has rich professional experience as a researcher, gaining highest titles &#8211; Full Research Professor at the Insitute of Physics, as well as Director in two companies: Kristal Infiz ltd and CDI ltd.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is a member of several professional associations: American Nano Society, Serbian Physical Society (Secretary from 2004 to 2006), ETRAN Society and Materials Research Society.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He holds a patent: Crystal growth chamber for Czochralski method;\u00a0Document of the small patent \u2013 No. 885 MP, 2007: Intellectual Property Office, Republic of Serbia<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>He participated in numerous international projects:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n<li>Electronic, magnetic and optical properties of high temperature superconductors and semiconductors; She received engineering, MSc and PhD degrees in chemistry and chemical technologies from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. The fields of research are materials, surface and colloid science and electrochemistry, with emphasis on synthesis and characterization of carbon based, oxide and non-oxide ceramics materials, as well as porous materials and their composites. Author of over 120 peer-reviewed international publications. Dr Biljana Babic was the head of the one fundamental project and three innovative projects. In the period of 2012-2015, she was the leader of the project package of the FP7 project. Also, Dr Biljana Babic was the supervisor of two doctoral dissertation and one master work.
